the washing and cleaning indications on the labels bent
inside clothing.
Act
in the most delicate possible way on all textiles, rub the
spots softly rather than vigorously.

dry cleaning for jackets and suits.
Try
not to mix in your
washing machine white and coloured items.

SOME EASY WAYS TO GET RID OF SPOTS
Usually,
these spots require a professional treatment, however these are some
easy ways to help you.

TEA,
COFFEE, WINE, FRUIT JUICE, BEER, GRASS: |
|
These
are very delicate spots. Soak the spot with diluted ammonia for no more
than 10 minutes, then abundantly rinse
|
|
|
EGGS,
MILK, BLOOD : |
|
Soak
the spot with diluted ammonia and rinse several times with cold water.
Avoid
any action of heat, before the stain removal (hot washing for example)..
|
|
|
OIL,
BUTTER : |
|
Rub
the spot using the adapted solvent. You can then either wash with tepid
water and rinse, or soak the spot with an absorbing powder (talc) let
rest the night and brush .

|
|
GASOLINE,
TAR, FUEL OIL : |
|
Impregnate
the spot with butter or oil during a few minutes, then, proceed as
described above. If ever the action of the solvent leaves brown or grey
traces, you can eliminate them by applying an anti rust product, that
you will rinse afterwards.
Before
using the anti rust product, try it on a hidden part of the clothing to
see how the fibre reacts to it. .

WAX,
MAKE-UP , LIPSTICK : |
|
Soak
the spot with a solvent to degrease, then neutralise the pigment very
slightly with chlorinated water, rinse and wash.

|
|
CANDLE
: |
|
Wedge
stains between two tissue paper sheets, then iron at low temperature,
so that the candle melts. Repeat the operation as many times as needed.
Never
exceed the ironing temperature of the fibre.

|
TINCTURE
OF IODINE, MERCUROCHROME, INK : |
|

- Treat with household soap spangles, then rinse.
- Rinse with white vinegar, then with water.

|
NAIL
VARNISH, PAINTINGS, ADHESIVES : |

Treat
the spot using a specific solvent: acetone for nail varnish, white
spirit for
Painting. Recover solvent using an absorbing powder or by washing .

HOW TO IRON YOUR SHIRT IN 7 STEPS
 |
1.
Collar :
remove the stiffeners of the collar if the shirt
has some. Lay the collar on the ironing board, start ironing at the
collar tip smoothing down the seam. Proceed in the same way for the
front part. |
2.Cuff
:
iron the inside first, then the outside. |

3.
Sleeves :
lay the sleeve on the ironing board with the
front part facing up. Iron the seam from the cuff upwards, and then
from the upper arm down to the cuff. |
4.
Shoulders and front :
Place half of the shoulder on the ironing board,
the finest end of the board entering the shoulder, to avoid folds place
the shirt with your hands. Iron going from the sleeve to the collar. |

5.
The front part of the shirt :
lay the shirt on the board, by aligning the
buttons with the board. Iron the buttonhole facing, going from hem to
collar. Then do the rest of the front part, from the collar to the hem. |
6.
The back part of the shirt :
put the front part of the shirt on the ironing
board. Iron the side seam, beginning above the sleeve insertion seam
and continuing to the yoke. |

7. Button panel :
iron from the bottom of the shirt to the collar.
